Different Types Of Racquetball Racquet’s

There are three different types of racquetball racquets. Different people like to play with different styled ones and prefer some to others. Here are the three different types of racquet’s that you can choose from.

  • Heavy

The heavy racquet is obviously the heaviest of the group. Usually a little over 180 grams these racquets are usually for a little more advanced players. If you have been playing for quite some time these are the type that you want to look for. Most experts will agree that the best racquetball racquet is a heavy one. Some may disagree but this is the general consensus.

  • Light

A light racquet is again the lightest of the group and weighs around 150 grams or so. These are for beginners and novices of the sport and are usually for people who are just starting. It is recommended that you start out with this type of racquet in order to help yourself ease into the game.

  • Medium

The medium is for people who are experienced but are not quite good enough to be an expert. If you have been playing for a good amount of time and you think you can try it out, give it a try. These usually weigh around 170 grams or so.

Things to Consider When Buying A Racquet

Remember that you need to choose wisely because if you end up picking something you do not like. You will end up having a terrible time when playing. Make sure that you make the right decision before spending that money on new gear. Obviously, if you are already an experienced player you will know what you like. If this is the case, help as many newcomers as you can with this dying game. Here are a few things that you should really consider when buying a racquet.

  • Price

Price really only matters for people who are either experienced or do not care how much they spend. The more expensive the racquet the better quality it will be and that is really important. If you are a serious hardcore competitor you will think about dropping some good money to make sure you can get that advantage that you need. If this is not you and you would like to get a cheap one to start out with. Remember that being too cheap can also have its consequences as well. If you go too cheap you might get something that will break easily. Be careful how much you spend and make sure to do your research before buying.

  • Weight

We have already been over this but I feel as if it is a good idea to go over again. The weight and size of a racquetball racquet will be the difference between having the best racquetball racquet and cheap breakable junk. The heavy products are more expensive but better quality and the light ones are cheaper but will break easier. Make your choice wisely.

  • Composition

The material of your racquet plays a huge role in performance. It should be made out of graphite. If it is made out of anything else, it’s probably not the best product.

You can find more of these on these sites if you are still in the market.
